Youth Voice & participation

Central to Tom’s work is the creative engagement of children and young people. He is one of only a handful of arts practitioners in the UK with a youth work qualification and specialism in youth participation and decision-making processes.

Tom uses creative arts to both engage and empower vulnerable and marginalized children and young people. His work has included:

* Work with young refugee and asylum seekers Pathway Project

* Young people at risk of radicalization

* Exploring the link between toxic masculinity and the sexual harassment of young women

* Examining online and offline Hate Crime on college campus
